Set Up Alert Notications

The ATTO CongTool can notify you when events occur on the RAID system. Open

the CongTool and select ‘localhost’ in the left bar. The screen below will appear.

The CongTool has four types of Alerts: Audbile Alert, Visual Alert,

System Log and By Email. You can set the Event threshold for each

Alert type and for different email addresses. To enable email notication,

enter your server information and up to three recipient addresses.

Events are categorized in two ways. ‘Critical’ indicates a serious

problem has occurred and the System Administrator should perform

corrective action. ‘Warning’ indicates events that are less serious but

still warrant notication.
